Time Management

Time management is really difficult, for both busy people and people with too much free time. This is my opinion of course but here's what I've experienced. Whenever I feel like I have too much time (e.g. vacation), I tend to fall to an inefficient routine, resulting in me not actually doing things that I want to do, until it is too late where vacation runs out suddenly. However, when I feel like I have way too little time (e.g. school), I tend to become stressed about what to do immediately, resulting in fatigue.
When there's too little time, we also start thinking about the 'infinite' things we could do when we *get* free time. However, when free time actually arrives in a large amount, we fall to a routine and *not* do the infinite things that we want to do. At worst we end up thinking about work.
I have no idea how to get out of this time management conundrum (if it is actually a time management concern), except perhaps in one possible way. And it is to always keep track of what we want to accomplish. Separate your personal time, and time for work. during personal time, spend it to address your short but mostly long term goals. At time for work, focus on the work assignment as if you're about to run out of time, to avoid thinking about "i could've done more" upon leaving your workplace or school. But when idle? But when you're done with things you intend to do? Write.
Write it all down, the next todos you want to do for your personal time and your work time. Our number 1 enemy is boredom, not rest. Boredom drives us all to patterns we easily find ourselves slaves to. If we always keep track of what we intend to do, for short term and long term, we'll be able to manage our limited, limited time...
